Does morse really say that, I`ll have to see that scene again. It didnt really appear that Ripley and Morse saw Aaron die but Ripley does look like she saw him when shes looking back at them. And Morse and Aaron really didnt like each but the big Assembly seen Aaron is trying to get Morse on his side. "

It"s with a lot of interest I read this particular topic, and really enjoyed the discussions here as to the two endings to A3. From my end, it"s really a shame that Morse"s yelling of Aaron"s name was dubbed out. Why would the producers want the audience to think that Morse had zero affection for one of the prison staff?? And regarding Bishop, I definitely agree that he only cared for the alien Queen, and the fate of the humans was something he had no opinions on. Doesn"t mean he"s a bad person (though the Company is clearly an "evil" corporation). I"m guessing his orders (and personal obsession) was the study of the Queen. So not surprisingly, he starts off with lies that sound good to Ripley (we"ll take it out of you and kill it, and you"ll survive). But once Ripley isn"t convinced, he becomes more desperate and isn"t able to keep up the charade any more, and instinctively becomes honest (think of all we can learn from it). And once he"s about to lose his objective when Ripley jumps, it"s a desperate cry of someone who knows he lost. As to his decree of "No pictures!", where I liked alternate version of A3 way more than the original, I definitely think it"s to keep any proof of Ripley"s sacrifice from being made public. No way do I think is that out of respect for Ripley"s decision. Instead, it"s to keep the public from finding out the huge sacrifice this human being made to keep his employer from having its way. Otherwise, imagine how bad Y-W would appear in public opinion. "

As watching that scene again it seems Morse is was saying something after Aaron got shot. Cause Ripley and Morse never say anything to him considering they the only 3 left( but at that point there was nothing really to they could do anyway) and the scenes with Bishops were great and worked for the better version. Its a shame the audio is not right for it.
