I'm fully up for a solo Predator movie. Because they're action movies, they can afford audience familiarity with the creature.
R.I.P. Alien. After over a decade of torture and disrespect. You'll finally be at peace.

If they are thinking about casting Arnie in the lead in another predator movie I will not be happy Do we need something as fucking braindead as awfully acted in the predator franchise as T3 was? (even Predator 2 was miles better than that, and I am certainly no huge fan of that film). Arnie lost his "acting" ability in the 90s and I seriously doubt it will come back. I hate this guy too.

I'd love to see them do a The Rock style film with Arnie in the Connery role and a guy like Gerard Butler in the lead. Otherwise I don't buy a 63 year old man fightin the galaxy's ultimte badass.
But lets drink to the fucking off of AvP! I'm getting fucking sloshed tonight!

Good news! I've always been saying that Predator needed another movie far more than Alien or AVP!

Well that's good news I guess. Not to hot on Arnie being in Predator 3 though.

I still think Alien is (clearly) front runner of the two monsters to (possibly) get a new movie. I wouldn't be surprised if Sigourney's being tapped up right now for a Ripley return. Predator should just die completely if it's gonna be John Davies producing again. He was as much responsible as anyone for atrocity requiem. But lets drink to the fucking off of AvP! I'm getting fucking sloshed tonight! Fuck yes!

Clearly? If Harrison Ford, Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis still = money, then Schwarzenegger is on top priority for a movie producer. I can see it being a Die Hard 4 style film. Remember Anderson and the Krauses may be bitches, but Schwarzenegger has final say on anything he wants.
John Davis needs to be dead yesterday.
I'm at the face is numb stage and i can still type clearly!

I say clearly because Sigourney has said over the past couple of months that she'd love to play the character again. Schwarzenegger's preoccupied with his Governor job and has expressed little interest in returning to acting, nevermind Predator. Besides, would FOX pay Arnie $20mill or whatever massive sum it would take him to reprise the role? The cheap shits couldn't even squeeze out a mid-blockbuster range budget for AvP-R.
Saying that, I completely agree it would be a commercially sound move to get Arnie back, based on the other golden oldies successes. Just too many blockades though.

I'm not sure what I detest more, Arnie in another Predator or Weaver in another Alien. Probably the latter. Wasn't resurrection enough damage?

I still think Alien is (clearly) front runner of the two monsters to (possibly) get a new movie. Davis doesn't own the rights to Alien, so he can only comment on the Predator aspect. Brandywine do still own the rights, but haven't been interested since '92. Basically some producer would have to really want to make a new Alien film, and wow Fox and Brandywine (although I suspect Brandywine would just say yes automatically, as they stopped resisting AVP from '02 or something) much like Badalato did with Alien Def. Which is a pity, as I would very much like to see a new Alien film (with all the usual caveats, of course).

I'm all for it if they go small and let Fox Searchlight handle it. It doens't have to be continuity shattering. Just a small tale of a small crew in a small area.

Weaver co-produced Resurrection and I don't think Brandywine would put up much, if any resistance if she approached them.
