Dennis Lowe has graciously allowed us to
host and stream his excellent documentary,
Alien Makers, which is dedicated to recalling some of the memories of the special effects technicians and model makers from the crew of
Alien:
If you missed the
news post Thedus made yesterday, the video runs about 80 minutes and features the likes of Rone Hone, Roger Nichols, Neil Swan, Brian Eke, John Hatt, Martin Bower, Simon Deering, Jon Sorensen, and Bill Pearson all recounting their time on the production of
Alien.
Additionally, Jon has made available his original soundtrack creation called
Alien 5 commemorating the 30th anniversary of
Alien, which is available for download from his
personal website.
Plus, Dennis is also uploading a DVD ISO file to our servers so fans can download and burn their own DVD copy of the documentary. It will be a couple days before the file is available so stay tuned for that announcement. In the meantime I highly recommend checking out both the
streaming version and
Jon's soundtrack.
