BTW - if you ever want to do an S99 docu... I'd be more than happy to help out.Wink  I've built some CG models that you could use: Stun Gun, Commlock, and I'm tinkering with an interior setting of Moonbase Alpha. Wink
Space 1999 brings back memories, I'm sure Brian Johnson would be more than happy to oblige, whoever decides to do a doc on that series. I'm afraid I'm not up to it, I came into the 'Johnson clan' right towards the end of Space 1999 and I think I only worked on the series for the last 3-4 months, then it finished.

I like the idea of being in the same documentary as Marc Caro too.
I shot the footage of Marc Caro at Fred Blanchard's home but I wanted him to do it at an old church he is restoring in Nantes, France. He's completely redesigned the interior (leaving the classic columns in place) but has a beautiful black cube in the roof space where he will store and edit his film material as he plans to use it also as a small studio to shoot smaller set ups when working on his projects. A huge glass wall separates part of the church for his living quarters.

The was a 'gosh' from me too as I first saw his grand plan, followed by "how can I light this space with only two Photoflood lamps I brought with me?"

The big problem would have been the audio, being a huge space the echo would have been a nightmare to try and clean for a straight interview (almost an impossible task)

Once, if possible, the gallery album size is taken up beyond a megabyte per member to a few more, I'll be able to upload some more of my drawings

I didn't know that there was a limit on uploading size as a standard jpeg of decent quality is no bigger than 500kbs, that is a real surprise to me.

well, I have about 80k left from my 1024kb of space to use, and that's certainly too small to put up a decent image of my Predator after Minon, I've uploaded three images up that were a couple of hundred kb, but we'll see if Hicks here works something out eventually. Presently the www.avpgalaxy.net has a good fan art gallery facility that has worked well over the years

Was a great experience. Glad it came out so well.  Smiley The variety of stories and people in the documentary is great. Really shows just how broad the appeal is. Thanks for taking the time to do this, Dennis. You've put some real effort into this community.

Thanks Aaron, there is an ulterior motive for all this 'giving'........when I finally leave this planet I'd like all of you guys on the forum to go into a month's mourning and eventually put up a statue in my honor.

What do you reckon?

Well, I know I personally will be upset for quite a while whenever this event comes to pass.

As for the statue, frankly, the community as a whole owes you that and more Dennis.

Long after that event Dennis will still be floating about Obi Wan Kenobi style Wink and would prolly complain about how small the statue is...

Holy crap, I'm in a movie with Marc Caro!?  Shocked

I'm trying to load this thing up but this computer's only got a 30 minute time limit so I'll probably only be able to skim through it, but I can't wait till I get the chance to see the whole thing in its entireity.
