The way Lambert bit it! We hear her die and that in itself was quite creepy, but I would of liked to have seen it.

It was one of the best deaths in any film because we DIDN'T see it.

Absolutely agreed. The implied brutality is more horrifying than anything they could've shown on screen then.

Okay, my first reaction upon seeing this question was "How can anybody even think of something like that?" However, then I saw this: • Would have liked a scene with Ash confronted by the alien. A simple shot of Ash rounding a corner, and the alien turns and rises from a crouched position, they look at each other, Ash looks genuinely startled, and the alien disappears.
Okay, if anything, this is an interesting idea. Nevertheless, otherwise I can't think of anything else to add probably. We get most of the other stuff that could have been in the movie in the director's cut, and unless we go to totally rewriting the story and want to add the original egg silo sequence in there (*coughIwonderabouttheprequelcough*), it's fine as it is. (What? Fine? It's brilliant!!! Enough said. ) • Would have liked to have seen what Parker saw with the alien near the air lock.
And I am not sure what this is referring to...

Deleted scene.
After Dallas death and the discussion to continue his plan, Parker goes to refuel the incinerator. On the way he encounters the Alien near the main airlock and radios to Ripley on the bridge. When he says so, she and Lambert open the outer hatch while closing the inner, but not before an alarm goes off. The Alien jumps back, gets an appendage caught in the hatch, acid eats through and the ship starts to decompress while the Alien escapes. Ripley and Parker are stuck in the decompressed area before the outer hatch closes (which may explain Ripley's later nosebleed).
Ash and Lambert bring O2 to Ripley and Parker. Ripley accuses Ash of setting off the alarm - which she later finds out is true from Mother.
The bridge portion of the scene was shot and can be found on DVDs.

Oh yes, thanks, sure, now that you described it, the alarm thing did ring the bell (sic ). Ha, I need to re-watch all these deleted scenes and DVD documentaries and stuff... haven't seen that for, eurgh, six years or something? But this scene really sounds like one that could have been worth seeing, indeed.

I'm a alien!

I believe the scene in its entirety is also in the ADF novelization. There's also a shot of the Alien missing an arm that I am sure somebody here has. I think it was from a magazine, but I can't recall which.

I think they blocked the airlock portion of the scene but never shot it.
But yeah it's all in the novel.
