The LA Times Hero Complex Blog that I contribute to is having its first ever film festival in Los Angeles at the Mann 6 Theatres 6/11 thru 6/13 -- located next to the world famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre (which has the famous courtyard with the celebrity footsteps and handprints).  Leonard Nimoy, Chris Nolan, and Ridley Scott will be in attendance and the films 'Star Trek 4', 'Insomnia', 'The Dark Knight', 'Alien' and 'Blade Runner' will be shown respectively with Q&A's. Tickets are now on sale, and can be purchased via the following link: http://events.latimes.com/herocomplexfilmfest/ -- this is a very unique opportunity for film aficianados -- and this will be the first ever double feature of Scott's 'Alien' and 'Blade Runner' with Scott in attendance discussing both films -- as well as the future, or shall I say "past" (as the next films are prequels) of the 'Alien' franchise.
