Kept expecting him to break into his natural Irish accent ala final 20 minutes of Xmen, but he held it together! Really cool piece. Notice the white milky fluid being pumped into the packaged android via tubular? Very Ash

Listening to a lot of Young Guns at the moment. Seen 'em live a couple of times past 2 months too. Guess you could call me a fan :]

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy: What a collection of actors! Quite intricate if yo not famaliar w the book, but i love the understated tension throughout 8/10

Battle:LA

Quoted from the B:LA thread:

It was so dull. Shoddy special effects, terribly designed Aliens and spacecrafts, little plot, cardboard military banter etc.

Good cinematography and slightly more competent than Skyline. Slightly. Bit pissed off, it shouldn't be that hard to make an Alien invasion movie at least really fun.

In a sado-machicistic (sp?) way I'm enjoying the teasing surrounding this movie - assuming that it is going to be an Alien movie. If no, well, Sir Ridley makes it on my Shit List.

 pwned!

Same. If this turns out to be a non-alien movie after two years of waiting and his declartion in the anthology, he can swallow a brick. I want an Alien redemption, I have no interest in "original sic-fi" when we've been led onto something more.

Thanks, everybody. I tried to avoid this, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Sorry for missing out on everybody else's birthday threads. I feel bad, but...I really can never think of something personalized to say.

IT IS YOUR BIRTHDAY. Smiley

For realz, happy birthday, have a good day!

Gnomeo & Juliet - The trailers were well cut, made the film look pretty funny & witty. Turns out it's free from any above-PG rated content and is strictly aimed at children. James McAvoy hasn't a charasmatic enough voice for voice acting. So basically, quite garbage overall C-

Paul - Second film of the afternoon yesterday was much better. It's not Hot Fuzz or Superbad, but watchable beginiing till end all the same. Great little Predator and Aliens references, and Seth Rogen was nowhere near as bad as I thought he would be. Probably gave a more enjoyable performance than Pegg & Frost. It's okii!! C+
