Yeah, during the six years' time since the game was announced Gearbox had started and finished Borderlands & Borderlands 2. Also getting ahold of the Duke Nukem Forever license and getting that piece of shite out the door.

So it's highly doubtful they spent much more than 1-2 years on A:CM.

Is it almost as good as prometheus?

I heard that there were lots of references and scenarios from the first two movies combined into a fan friendly mashup and culminating into a big cameo reveal

Did it ask big questions?
It's weird, I played through it in splitscreen with a friend and loved it, not so much the second time when I played it through by myself. Mostly due to alot of bugs I never caught the first time around.

It didn't really ask any big questions, the story itself was a huge disappointments to be honest. As was its length. Remember those awesome Syd Mead concept sketches of a futuristic city, kinda like Nar Shaddaa? Guess they didn't find enough time to implement those sceneries into the final game, which is a damn shame.

Solid gameplay though and sweet graphics/sound. It's understandable that people are super-disappointed but to be honest - people are being extremely unfair. I had great fun with it.

I too got an early "press release" today. One of the perks of working in retail. Wink

You're not a fan of Spaceballs?

I completed Aliens: Colonial Marines yesterday basically in one sitting.
That's not a knock on its length, I just couldn't keep my attention away from it. It's really, really good.

I want to wait a few days before discussing it with you guys but basically
Spoiler:
there's hints of Prometheus in there though never fully realized I thought. Disappointingly so, I really wish for a sequel to address this some day.

Also, awesome to have Michael Biehn and Lance Henriksen replaying their roles in this. It's a shame the facial animation was left to the interns. What I really like about it is how they never take the fact that they got these actors to replay their parts and shove it in your face and say "HEY, IT'S BISHOP AND HICKS!" but rather keep them in the background and let them play their parts respectively.

So I'm guessing it's confirmed that to actually get the features, you really have to buy the 4-disc Blu Ray?  Facepalm (Picard)

Or you could just hang around the internet for a few minutes after the release of the film.

Apologies in advance for the large picture. Here's the official teaser poster for the movie.

I just had a terrible dream that some studio was remaking Clockwork Orange.
