He just seems to be easy to please. It's the same with food and TV shows, I find. I am a motherfucking critic-ass bitch motherfucker; and will not recoil from voicing my opinions.

For fucking twenty seconds. A Geiger Counter gets more screen time than him. Also, the movie is pretty sparse on the creature effects and gore. Most of the movie is men with mustaches arguing about homeless people.

If you turn on that TrueMotion bullshit, maybe kind of. But it's frame interpolation, so it's just trying to emulate the effect of more frames per second, kind of like upscaling a 480p image to HD.
I only want to see it in 48p if it's 3D as well, because that is the whole point. That 48p makes 3D work better than 24p.

I watched CHUD and this insane movie called Shredder Orpheus last night. CHUD was kind of meh, but Shredder Orpheus was so fucking insane that it borders on a classic. Experimental guitars designed by Hendrix, a skateboard from hell, a TV channel stealing people's souls, people with weird-ass names, a crazy Vietnam Vet rolling around sitting on a skateboard, a city made of shipping containers, and trudging through paper shreddings...this movie had it all.

Iron Man 3: Yeah, it's good. I feel it might be a tad over-rated. I didn't geek out as much as I did in The Avengers. The MCU continues its hot streak, though. Another wholly fun movie, with some nice humor. The line Tony gives to the kid is so awesome, especially in a PG-13 film. They ruined the Mandarin, though. The reveal was funny, and worked for the story...but it was a wasted opportunity for the MCU to get a real super villain for future movies.

Salt City Horrorfest; 2013:
Abbot and Costello Meet Frankenstein (latter half, arrived late again this year): Meh.
It Came From Outer Space (3D): So, very silly.
Fright Night: Way more fun than I remember it being. Chris Sarandon is awesome, and his theme song is bad-ass.
Night of the Living Dead (1968): Boring, with some lousy acting. I respect its place in cinema; and the breakthroughs it made. But that didn't stop me from napping through half of it.
The Manson Family (2003): A piece of unfocused, trashy shit. I liked the interviews and how they related to the film, but that was probably the only thing I did like.
Robocop: Great fun to see it with a crowd cheering for the right stuff, laughing at the right stuff. Wish it had of been the Unrated cut, but oh well. This single movie made the trip worth it.
House on the Edge of the Park: For a rip-off of Last House on the left, this piece of shit has none of the charm. It is as boring as it is filthy, and can't manage to manifest a single interesting or unique idea.
Nekromantic: Way, way nuts. Parts are hilarious, in a disgusting way. The end is bananas. The music is amazing.

Nobody Walks: Decent background noise. Another low-key Indie flick about young people fucking.
Jack Reacher: The acting, screenplay, dialogue, cinematography all more than competent. It's a crime thriller, not an action movie...but a well-crafted crime thriller. Werner Herzog was pretty awesome, and the few action sequences the movie boasts are sufficiently coordinated and well-edited. It's not high art, or even a must-see popcorn film...but it's over-all plenty solid to warrant a rental, PPV purchase, or whatever.

Oblivion: Pretty much what I expected. It's pretty, the music is decent, but the plot and screenplay are pretty meh. The movie takes entirely too long to get to the point, and the set-pieces and ambiguity that take place before the punch-line just aren't good enough to forgive it. There are some potentially interesting ideas, none of which are really explored at all. Also, the ending is plagiarist of Independence Day. Right down to the production design and cinematography. If it's not a movie you were planning on seeing; or the trailer didn't do anything for you (like myself), it's probably not worth your time and money. Unless you are one of those 5-movies-a-week maniacs.

You could try making sure Windows is updated, perhaps there is a component missing. Make sure to get those damned .net framework bastards, too (under optional updates) if you don't have them already. If all else fails, try asking the nerds over at http://www.majorgeeks.com/. I think I recall them being pretty helpful and prompt.

Jurassic Park in 3D: Works quite well in 3D, as I expected. The way the film was shot lends itself to 3D pretty damn good, a lot of foreground stuff and a few dinos popping out. Plus, hearing the film with a good sound system is also a plus. If you are a fan of the film, you owe it to yourself to go check this out.

Evil Dead
Pretty good stuff. I liked it a lot, but I did not like the ending sequence at all. Any originality kind of disappeared in favor of some really uncreative things. There was a huge missed opportunity to put in a good plot twist and really fuck with the audience but it didn't happen, and after that I sort of zoned out. Before that though, the movie is pretty awesome.
7/10
You forgot to specify which version.

GI Joe: Retaliation: Funny, action packed fun. Heaps better than the first movie, also more realistic and less kid-friendly. The mountain scenes looked great in 3D, like it was designed for the format. My onliest complaint is the stupid casting of RZA, who sticks out like a sore thumb and has an awful accent. B+ or something. Gets my recommendation.
