Is it not usually "outsourced" internally?
As in, the same company but a different Studio based in a different city? Like Bioware Montreal did ME3 multiplayer while Edmonton did Singleplayer.
That sort of thing.

Well you wont see it.
Sam Neill wont do it because he wanted Michael Crichton to be involved, and he has passed away.
So don't count on him being there. Not sure about Goldblum, maybe.

The main thing where it may go wrong is the designs. Beckmen hit the nail on the head here. I understand the desire to keep things scientifically up to date - imagine if Hollywood dinosaurs still looked like sluggish lizards - but feathered raptors have a high potential of looking stupid. A giant bird with teeth and claws isn't anywhere near as threatening as a more reptilian creature. Frankly, I hope they'll just return to the JP/TLW designs, but I doubt that's going to happen. I'm afraid the raptors will have far more than quills this time around. I'll just leave this here... Don't forget, what we assume are "Feathers" may not actually be what a Raptor has. It could be a proto-feather which is usually a lot more "Scaly" looking than fluffy.

Yea that seems to be a growing trend, and it is rather annoying. I don't care that I just played through the first level, give me an achievement instead for not dieing on insanity during the first level.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
Watched in 3D and IMax.
Wow. I went in with mixed expectations. On one hand, it is Peter Jackson who in my opinion is a consistently solid director (at least with the Tolkien Franchise), but as I find it rare for 4 movies in a row to be consistently amazing is slim. Boy was I wrong.
To be burtally honest, I was going to write a long(ish) reply. Fuck it.
Go and see it. It is fantastic and deserves to be seen by everyone.

It looks actually really really good. Especially when it was in 3D and in Imax.
The 14 minute preview in front of the Hobbit is fantastic, and if it is an accurate representation of the movie I will most likely love this movie.

Yea the more I have completed it, the more "Linear" it feels, but I am willing to overlook it simply because of the motherload of good things about it. I don't think there is another game I have played this often (except World of Warcraft, and after 6 years I stopped that )

It is just like when a recording artist releases a new album that is different from their first Album, people go ape shit and say its "not really" them.
Yes, it is really them and like all things they are evolving and changing, but its still the same artist.
You don't have to like it, but the amount of albums they have sold with this "new sound" shows some people do.
Boy, I could rant about this all day...
