Warners/DC have had one in the works since last year?

Too late? Maybe they've read my childish rant and took Kieros' reply to heart? At least I hope so. That's the only way to salvage this debacle. Commit to some epic Lord of the Rings level storytelling. No more Singer's, Campbell's and Nolan's who don't believe in the properties and alter them beyond recognition. Get Guillermo Del Toro or the Wachowskis.

On a personal note, get Sean Bean as Green Arrow. Let him go full Sheffield too.

With the exception of the Nolan films and Watchmen (which doesn't really count) DC Universe films have been pretty awful lately. Green Lantern, Jonah Hex, Catwoman, Superman Returns, Steel, Batman and Robin. They need to do something to improve their brand.

They should go the Marvel route. Have patience. Put in some DC-Universe nods in The Man of Steel, get The Flash and Wonder Woman movies in the pipeline for 2014, and a Justice League-friendly version of Batman (I am thinking give him one of the more outlandish, scifi villains) for 2015. Aim to have a Justice League film coming out 2016 or 2017.
