Of course. Still don't like it, though. Akin to, although more canon than, the term Yautja for the Predators. I prefer Thedus's designation Internecivus Raptus for the Aliens myself.  |

It's almost like a colloquialism. Like how Native Americans aren't 'Indians'. When somebody says 'xenomorph' they rarely mean anything else than "The aliens from those Aliens movies". Deal with it.

I think the best is the opening line, which explains that "Xenomorph... is a sort of a... humanoid..." Contradictio in adjecto.

Yeah, I felt the same way. Couldn't stand it in AvP. But what the fuck is it with this game trying to be CoD: AvP? Triple kill? Seriously. It's an Aliens game, not Black Ops team deathmatch... I don't know, seems totally out of place.

That's just the acceptable style, and popular form for FPS games to take now. It's going to be accessible to people who play CoD or people like us who play Battlefield.  |
