House of Re-AnimatorThe previously announced White House-set sequel will reteam the original?s Yuzna, Stuart Gordon, scripter Dennis Paoli and stars Jeffrey Combs and Bruce Abbott. ?We want to cast big on this one,? Yuzna tells Fango. ?If we get the budget, we want to have great supporting actors. Stuart is going to talk with William H. Macy, who just did EDMOND for him, to play the President of the United States.? HOUSE would be followed by two additional RE-ANIMATOR sequels to form a new trilogy. http://www.fangoria.com/news_article.php?id=6089http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0804493/ Update on the cast. This one should deffinitly get a theatrical release! Its good to know that Stuart Gordon is going to direct again, and bring the guys from the original one back!

What! This'll probably mean all the prequels will come out in an attempt to cash in - then I'll buy them with glee . EDIT - Come out on 'DVD'

I knew Bride was because I spotted it a while back. What I meant is they'll be easier to get now.

Oh. Beyond... is fairly common in R4. Cheap too. Must pick up a copy sometime.
Apparently the Millenium Edition of the first film is the best version to pick up.

Yeah, it's the one with the full head-giving-head sequence!
Does anyone know what the third one was like?

I own it! I thought it was pretty good, alot of references to the HPL short story. There is a lot of gore and hillarious moments! I would recomend it if you like the series. Oh and heres a poster I found of House of Re-Animator.

Considering Beyond Reanimator's budget, cast and overall standing it stands up quite well with the previous films. Not quite as good as Bride, which wasn't as good as the first flick, but still good re-agent injecting fun. I think it lost something sans Bruce Abbott, but Jeffrey Combs exudes class and professionalism in everything he does.

I couldn't get past half of Bride, the first one was awesome, but I totally loved Beyond.. It might have something to do with me seeing Beyond first however, but overall I totally loved it.

*Trying not to sound like an idiot.*
Is Re-Animator about a guy who brings people back to life?

Yup. He injects them with a reagent and they come back. Usually brain damaged and like a speed freak, but they come back.
