Need help, I'm currently trying to rip a CD so I can put the songs on to my MP3 player and using media player to do it. ?But fist two song turn up as impossibly long, how did I get rid of the copy protection. ?This is not a illegal question, I'm entitled to take a copy of any CD I own (motherfuckingrecordcompanybastards!!!!!)

im sure media player asks you when you rip if you want to add or remove the copy protection. What version of media player are you using man?
try this: Windows Media Player 10 1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Rip Music tab. 2. Clear the Copy protect music check box. Windows Media Player for Windows XP and Windows Media Player 9 Series 1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Copy Music tab. 2. Clear the Copy protect music check box. Windows Media Player 7 1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the CD Audio tab. 2. Clear the Enable Personal Rights Management check box

Not sure whats goin wrong mate. Everytime iv done it av used those steps. Then when you go to put the songs onto your mp3 player use WMP to do it. should convert them and make them a bit smaller in file size.
try deleting the songs and re-rip with the copy protection off.
