I'm on my second playthrough on normal just trying to upgrade everything and do a bunch of achievements really. Haven't played Dead Space 2 yet. |

Yeah I've been meaning to beat the first game and even bought the second game so I could finally play though the first... Has yet to work out though. It really is a great, scary game but it's just finding the time and determination to play through it. Ah, it's alright. It plays well and all, but it's not classic Silent Hill. Feels more like Saw, Hostel and the Silent Hill movie smashed together. The combat system's good, but the writing's not as good as the first four and it ain't scary.
Yeah I see where you're coming from... In all honesty though I enjoy Homecoming's story more than I do the first game though, I'm just sick of hearing of Alessa (with Shattered Memories and Origins also featuring her). I guess I appreciate that they actually tried to stay away from the Alessa character and tried to do a somewhat original story- especially if you consider the Hospital ending the canon ending. |

Anyway, been playing Alien Trilogy when I suddenly discovered it was widely available as abandonware (was originally looking to try and buy it for PS). With the only save point being the end of the level, and you start the next level with your previous health and ammo - dat shit is hard!
If you're finding Alien Trilogy difficult then you better skip Alien Resurrection. |

Ordered Witcher 2 for the 360 today. I'm kinda worried I won't get anything about the story or the universe since I never played the first one, but someone convinced me that I won't be too confused since the game apparently does kinda explain some shit about what happened in the last installment.
Reading the reviews, sounds just my kinda game. And I'm in desperate need of a real, good RPG after dying a little inside after Mass Effect 3.

I was looking forward to ghost recon when I saw the first gameplay stuff. It seems to have changed a lot since then though.
The Alpha short film did get me interested again though. I think I'll wait a bit for it; I'm mire excited for Max Payne 3 and the new Spec Ops game.

I was excited for Max Payne 3 until I found out about the three weapon limit. Piss on that. 1 & 2 allowed you to carry everything. Why strip that down?
The first one to say realism gets a punch in the dick.

Recently bought Battlefield 3. Multiplayer is fun and it's extremely rewarding taking down a chopper with an RPG, who moments before had been slaughtering the crap outta me and my team.
