Topic: AVP 2 On-Location Picture?! (Read 7457 times)

From main AXP site: While browsing the Hollywood North Report forums, I came across an eyewitness report of the Alien vs. Predator 2 film crew shooting on-location in Port Moody, British Columbia: We heard that AVP2 is filming in Port Moody this week, on that main lower road, so we went out there Tuesday night, and sure enough it was all there. A guy said they'd be working til 4 a.m.
For the scene we watched being filmed, there was a huge crane with a long sprinkler bar so they could make major rain happen on the street below, army trucks, and men & women with guns looking for aliens.
The filming crew were all in rain gear and the cameras were all covered in plastic, as they were right under the rain bar along with the actors.
In the photo (hopefully it displays okay) the bright reddish light on the left is the interior of the truck where the young girl actress stayed while the other women were out checking for aliens. It's not a great pic, it just gives you an idea of what we watched.Although the photograph doesn't show much, and in of itself doesn't verify that it is in fact the AVP 2 crew, the report seems sincere, and there is a good chance it's all legit. You can see in the background the military type vehicles mentioned in the report, but it's a shame it's not in daylight as the set sign is right in the middle of the image! It would be nice if we could get to see some 'official' set photographs soon... Thanks to vancouver2sweet for sharing this with us. |

You know, I'm not even disappointed. In fact, I don't believe that pic raised or dropped my seratonin levels by any degree. I'm waiting for an official production photo. Still, thanks are in order for this brave and diligent individual for providing us with our first -- albeit unclear -- set pic. Sheriff sees Aliens killing little girl and comes running at the truck yelling "CONTACT 30 RIGHT!" and unloads on the truck, ex con guy comes out of nowhere with a gun and starts shooting at truck, little girls feminazi mum comes running shooting at the truck, loser pizza boy joins in, Danny fucking Glover and Arnlod Schwarzenegger come in guns blazing. The shooting continues non stop. Anrie turns to Sheriff, "what did you see?" Morales: "Nothing, that little bitch ouldn't stop screaming" Anyway Indiana Jones guy is probably Sheriff Morales. Or Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones IV which is filming. |
