AXP Interviews Ariel Olivetti!

I've just posted up a brief interview I conducted with the Argentinian comic book artist, Ariel Olivetti. Ariel is the lead artist on the upcoming Superman & Batman vs. Aliens & Predators title from DC Comics. During the course of the interview, I discovered that the series was completed three years ago, but was shelved due to copyright issues, check it out:

AXP: How is work on the Punisher War Journal coming? Since you are hard at work on Superman & Batman vs. Aliens & Predators, I'm guessing your exclusive contract with Marvel is finished?

Ariel: I made the SBAP book 3 years ago, but it wasn’t published before because of conflicts regarding the rights.

AXP: You've done work for some DC Comics role playing titles (Gotham City Sourcebook and DC Origins), what was that like?

Ariel: Fantastic!

AXP: Were you already a fan of the Alien and/or Predator series before beginning work on this project? If so, what was your favourite film?

Ariel: I have always liked those two characters and as a matter of fact, it was I who suggested to the editor to make a story bringing all of those characters together.

The two issue series is slated for release in January of 2007, and was written by Mark Schultz, whom we will be sitting down with for a second part to this interview later this month.
