It's a work night, but fuck it. Sick to death. May as well drink. Getting close to 24. Nothing to show for it. Still living with my parents. Sharing my bedroom with my nephew. Can't drive. Getting fatter by the month. Hate my appearance. Zero pride. Zero confidence. Been single for longer than I can remember. Nothing excites me right now. The novelty of having a job's worn off. Even with the promotion, it's like quicksand. Most of my colleagues pretty much hate me or take the piss. Depression's getting worse. Can't relax around people without alcohol. Hardly any real friends. My dog's dead. Relatives betrayed me and my family.
Only place I've got where I can ramble about it is this place. The local nuthouse aren't in a hurry to help even though I'm close to jumping onto the busy road outside the workplace. It's pathetic that I'm even mentioning it here. Sound like a whiny bitch.

At least, LL, you are still able to walk, drink, take a piss, have a drink, sleep with a woman, yell at people you hate, hide to cry, sleep in your bed, have a job you despise...
My sweetheart will never be able to do those things anymore. Life is unfair, but not as unfair as when a 40 year old ends up paralyzed for life, and is only able to say yes or no with his eye lids, and is fed with a tube in his stomach.
See? That's why I'm not drinking lately...
...but I suppose, to each its own.

Well, we all have issues... it's not to diminish what you're going through, I thought that mentioning it would lessen your burden. Weird I know... I feel useless these days, that helped a little. |
