I got this awesome box set for Christmas, and decided to write a review on it. First of all its big, very big, even bigger than I thought it would be, the design is top notch, the detail is spectacular, just like in the film. the lower part of the head is made out of resin, and the dome is made out of a translucent acrylic(very similar to the dome in the original creature) I think. The dome is removable(comes out a bit clumsily), and inside you can see the Alien's skull and brain! The DVDs are cased inside the head, which is made of a type of black velvet, that will not scratch your DVDs and keep them safe. If you are a big fan of Alien, this is the essential piece thats missing in your collection, it will make a great decoration object for your room, and its just great to look at for its beauty. Definitely recommended! 10/10. I heard this is out of print in other countries but it appears that its just been released out here in Portugal. I found the store from which my brother bought it, and it was like only 99.95 €! For those of you who are in Portugal, go get it!!

It's the best packaging ever. If I didn't already own each Alien film five times over, I'd but it in a second.

Heah!
I saw it in FNAC's store in Barcelona, and cost about 100 €!
It's great, but as I'd already got the Alien Quadrilogy I did not dare to buy it.... you know...students are not rich at all!

When I've got money to spare, I'm totally getting this off eBay. Partially because of the awful R1 Quadrilogy accordion-style packaging, but mostly because it's so freakin' cool.

And... it's the collector's essential piece!

Damn, that is an impressive piece. What are the dimensions of that thing? Wish I could afford something like that, but hell I still want/need to buy the Alien Quadrilogy.

Yeah, that would be an awesome way to start off your Alien movie collection. Oh, and Brett, I think the word you're looking for is "bargains" not garbains.
