So noticing that most peoples top twenty (except for the Halloween freak) had a mix of genres, how about we rate those as well...

Categories being (with my picks)...

Comedy(Arsenic and Old Lace, Young Frankenstien, Raising Arizona, Its a 4xMad World, Any of the Stooges)

Drama(American Beauty, Fixing the Shadow, Couching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Usual Suspects, Sexy Beast)

Sci Fi (2001, Alien, Day the Earth Stood Still, Matrix, Soylent Green)

Horror (Halloween, Basket Case, the Omen, The Exorcist, Night of the Living Dead)

Action (Die Hard, Rambo, Hardboiled, Enter the Dragon, Terminator 2)

Western (Unforgiven, Silverado, Magnificent Seven, Good Bad & Ugly<like my saturday nights used to be before marriage> True Grit)

War (Full Metal Jacket, Platoon, Apocalypse Now, Battle of the Bulge, Patton)

Animated (Akira, Fantasia, Allegro non Troppo, Shrek, the Incredibles)

Fantasy (Princess Bride, Legend, Excalibur, Lady Hawk, Lord Of The Rings)

Add others if you think your films dont fit in there somewhere. Some films will straddle two or more genres, so just pick the most obvious category. "

Ah, definately easier.

Let me see...

Comedy (Caddyshack, Office Space, Blues Brothers, Old School, Airplane)

Drama (American Beauty, Devil’s Advocate, Heat, Unbreakable, Seven)

Sci Fi--this is hard (Alien, Alien3, Predator, Blade Runner, The Matrix)

Horror--never been into horror--although Alien is considered horror sometimes (The Ring, Dusk till Dawn, Interview with the Vampire, thats all I can come up with)

Action (Die Hard, Blade, Batman Begins, Superman, Terminator)

Western (Unforgiven, Magnificent Seven, Open Range, Pale Rider, Tombstone)

War (Patton, Saving Private Ryan, Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, Tora Tora Tora)

Animated (Shrek, The Incredibles, Monsters Inc, Titan A.E., Transformers the Movie--hold over from my younger days)

Fantasy (Princess Bride, Lord of the Rings, Willow)

I am not sure how to classify Fight Club, but that should be somewhere.

I’d say Psychological Drama. Or, a big mind fuck like most of Fincher’s films.
