Just got back from Coldplay.
Holy Shit that was the most amazing thing since, well since sex!
They came into the crowd half way through, and played Speed of Sound (acoustic) and I'm a Believer by the Monkees.
More details, videos and photos later. But holy shit that was the best thing ever, only sucks my girlfriend wasn't there, got kinda jealous seeing all the couples hugging during The Scientist. So I called her, she is in Jakarta (indonesia). Then she cried.
Other than having no girlfriend with me, this was the best concert ever, totally trumps Franz Ferdinand.
I was literally 15 feet from the band.
Damn it was amazing.

Apparently Gene Simmons was at the NIN concert. He was at Hard Rock Cafe afterwards according to friends.

Got to fly up to West Virginia to see my bro and his girlfriend and go to the Blink 182 concert!!!! Still can't believe I got to see them live and so friggin CLOSE. WE almost didn't get in because my brother never got the tickets ahead of time because he said "they never sell out, stop worrying." What does the sign at boxoffice say but "BLINK 182 SOLD OUT". We had to go around looking for people selling tickets and eventually got 2 lawn seats and one VIP pass! My bro let me have the VIP ticket, which I can't thank him enough. I bought my fist Blink CD when I was 8 years old and have since been a fan, so it was pretty unreal to hear all their songs live and surrounding me! Can't even explain it. Best show I've seen. They don't just play music though, they're up there telling jokes and acting like goofs. It makes it that much better! Glad to see that they played their older music too. Aaaand Travis Barker, their drummer, did this sick drum solo towards the end while he was on this platform that elevated him and spun him around while he played. It was sick. I swear he's one of is the best drummer s around. I didn't get any pics OF COURSE. My brother's girlfriend was the only one with a camera, and that was barley charged and she was in the back with my bro. So never got to take a pic. But I have the ticket stub and some awesome memories in my head!

I would kill my neighbour to see Blink live! 'Take Off Your Pants And Jacket' was the first I album I ever bought, I loved them ever since, and used to listen to 'The Mark, Tom and Travis Show' religiously. Ahh, memories! ...I wanna see 'em

Ahh, memories! ...I wanna see 'em Yeah their songs do bring back great memories! My first one was Enema of the State. It sounds like they'll be doing a big world tour soon, they're in the process of making a new album so you just might have your chance to see them! Lookin' gorgeous in that pic! Glad the show was good too!

I've just had a really cool week of live music. Went to a super small venue to see a band called Sweethead (Hot female lead singer/QOTSA mash-up) who were nuts, got to meet the entire band including Troy van leeuwen! Definitely one of the most captivating live acts I've seen! Saw Aerosmith last night. Wasn't the easiest of evenings.. But they put on a good show! Next friday I'm seeing Pearl Jam again, absolutely can't wait Gaslight Anthem supporting, which should be epic.
