Agent keyes named him that in Predator 2.
He was probably using the term "predator" in a generic sense, i.e. "creature that hunts". But pretty much everyone agrees that the capitalized "Predator" is their official name anyway. I mean, 99 % of the time people refer to them as such.

Well yes, but he was still calling him a predator. Harrigan probably would've started calling him that too. Technically the term pussyface is more canonical than yautja. I usually refer them as either of the two, but I wish you would try to ban me....  I was joking stooge.
