I humped the SAW, myself I liked it. Pity about the M60's. The E3's were great, as compact as you could want a full fucntioning automatic machine gun.

My military service only strengthened my love and resolve for guns, but I was in more combat prone MOS. I guess you supply chokes like staplers and paperclips more!

I have no idea what I am talking about, and so I think 5.56 is like a baby's toy. You want supporting fire, give me 7.62!

5.56 is more accurate, and when the rounds hit someone they tumble inside the body or "bounce around" as some people describe it, so they can do equal amount of damage if not worse than a 7.62, which would be better for penetration.

But I'll agree with you. There's a reason the rest of the world is using variants of the AK-47 and the US is stuck with the absolute shit M-16.

Now'a'days more 5.56,es drill straight through. Hence why more "special" units went to a 70 grain boattail, or semi'frangibile round. For over all stopping power nothing will ever top a 7.62x39 mike mike. Accuracy is in the eye of the beholder. Or the shooter, whatever.

AK-47,s will be on planet earth long after every M-16 variant from the A1 down to the M-4 are long liquidated. But we are not splitting hairs here on the weapon systen-platform. We are talking about the round. More shittier made 5.56'es do tumble, yes. But most, MOST military grade variants do not. Hence again why in Vietnam our troops cut notches into the lead, to make it tumble more for better shock trauma value and inner damage.

The 7.62 gives that value by default.

This looks EXACTLY like me, but is not. Wearing the same t-shirt I wear all the time, and also apparently named John. Creepy. The second photo reveals the guy to not look like me at all.

The new me:

Got rid of the hair and the moustache/beard combo.

Can do perfectly well without the beard/moustache, but I really fucking miss my long hair. Definitely gonna grow that back.

Yeah, many have said it shaves off about ten years from my age, but I don't fully agree. I think the lack of all that hair just makes my wrinkles show better. Thinks

We're probably related somehow. The nordic countries having been small, isolated communities for most of their history, some inbreeding has had to have happened at some point.

Aww, a face so cute you could almost fuck it.

Almost?

One of the last pictures of me taken in Shanghai, China. On 11 May, 2012

This one was at 6 AM, on Yanping Lu ( road ), where I lived. I did it for a local dive bar. Yes, that is a beer in the coozie.
