Alien: All of them, even Lambert. But my absolute favorites of the crew are Dallas, Ripley, and Kane.
Aliens: Ripley and Hicks. Frost, Bishop and Gorman are swell guys as well.
Alien 3: Clemens, Dillon, Chalmers, and Ripley. But I like 85, David, Morse, and Andrews too. Great movie.
Alien Resurection: Christie, Purvis, and Vriess.

Just for shits and giggles...worst characters...
Alien: Lambert. She doesn't seem very deep...just a constant whiner. Emotionally unstable, etc. Not terrible, but compared to the others...I don't really like her.
Aliens: Vasquez. She paved the way for Michelle Rodriguez to ruin all kinds of movies and annoy me. She isn't nearly as bad. I don't hate her, but I am just looking for weak links here, so I count her. I also count Hudson kind of. Maybe just because of how often he's quoted, which I used to have fun with until it got old. Oh, and Newt...by far the weakest link. Doesn't help that I don't like kids in the first place.
Alien3: Maybe nobody. Nothing rings a bell.
Alien: Resurrection: Call. Boringly written, badly-acted character. Distephano and Purvis are cliche and poorly-acted, as well. Also Vriess, who just irritated me...and Johner because he's too much of a cliche. Pretty much most of the characters are weak, IMHO. But mainly the first three. (FTR, I actually like Leland Orser as an actor...but not here).

Okeydokey! Bottom 5: 5. Lambert - because she needed a slap 4. Johner* - because he was just so uninspired a character 3. Vriess*- well, who were you expecting... Santa Claus?2. Distephano* - for delivering the Auton speech which was the point the Alien series sank to a new low 1. Hudson - for every fucking word that comes out of his mouth. * Actually, special contempt goes to virtually every character in Alien:Aberration for being so fucking bland it's stunning. It's like Whedon thought that he'd follow Cameron's style of just giving everyone a quirk and a few shitty one-liners... but he couldn't even manage that right.

Maybe he should've written all of the Betty's crew as teenage girls.

There is an explanation for this, you know.

Maybe he should've written all of the Betty's crew as teenage girls. Sure. Specially the monkey-moment of Perlman....

Alien:Regurgitation had deep, well written, three dimensional characters. Compared to AVP's.

Any reason but the ginger one. A-ha! My cunning plan takes that into account. See even if you don't enjoy the young ladies for their, er, physical qualities - then you can enjoy your least favourite girls being slaughtered by the alien menace. Everyone wins! <Thinks a moment...>Tweedy with a pulse rifle.

Hmm, I like the entire cast in Alien at least somewhat, but Ripley, Kane and Parker have to be the favourites.
In Aliens Bishop and Ripley. Newt, Burke (not likable as such, but a decent character, as in decently written and acted) and Hicks are okay. Ripley for me is what makes this movie still worth watching, without her the characters would not be enough to support the film, for me, despite the excellent pacing and visuals.
Alien 3, well long time since I saw it last, but Ripley, Clemens and Dillon.
Alien: Resurrection, well... I didn't even like Ripley all that much this time around.
If we are to count AVP Charles Bishop Weyland. Well, I don't care much for the cheesy twist of having good old Bishop be built after the real Weyland who died a couple of hundred years earlier, but he was the only slightly likable of all the clichéed characters in this movie. Perhaps that's all thanks to Lance Henriksen.
