Nicknames yes, - but names none the less, and all of them were used outside the movie for fans to better describe them. Just like Wolf and Chet.

Chet is the name of someone I know personally, and therefore can only relate it to being used on a real person.  Stupid ass name for a PredAlien, what were they thinking?  How about something that actually sounds cool?  The Strauses are beginning to work their way more onto my bad-side each day.

Chet's a nickname as well.  Aliens don't have names, unless they're all called HISSSSSS and SKREEEEE!!!!

Somewhere the Brothers have already mentioned that Chet is a nickjname, an injoke between them.  Presumably because, like Hudson, they know somebody called Chet, who presumably reminds them of a PredAlien (maybe it's the dreads!).

Obviously not, my point was that Chet is a real name, wheras the others are not. I know it's just a name to identify it outside of the movie, but when you give it a name like that you're humanising it and that's not a good idea in my opinion.

Not that this is a major thing, because it's really not.
