Hard Boiled was a lot more action packed than Face/Off. It's also a much better Woo movie altogether.

Face/Off is a chore to sit through. It's good but there's no fun in watching it like The Rock and Con Air.

I enjoy some of Roger Corman's films. Especially The Last Woman on Earth and Creature from the Haunted Sea.

Man, you're the first person I've ever heard say Face/Off and Bad Boys II don't have enough action Doesn't really matter if Face/Off has enough action or not... it's just a bad movie. You can see all the wires. I noticed them the first time I was it, when I was 13 or 14.

Yeah, I noticed this when I bought the DVD. It's insane. No effort whatsoever to even hide them, really nuts. Also, several shots of obvious stuntmen. It wasn't very aptly filmed at all. I don't know what Woo and company where thinking when they looked at the dailies and said "OK".

I've been noticing more garbage like that in Woo's American flicks recently.

I never noticed 'em, though it has been a fair while since I watched it. Got any pics of this?

Dune - 1984, David Lynch.
I loved the book and i love this movie. A lot of fans hated this film when it was released and complained endlessly. I think it's an outstanding film but many of my friends hate it and prefer the sci-fi channels TV adaption over the film. A while ago i got hold of a copy of Dune called 'The Third Stage Edition' which sparked my interest in the Dune novels again. I think David Lynch did a brilliant Job regardless of the Production probelms and the hours of footage cut (sounds like Alien 3 don't it) it's a brilliant film and it's one of my second favorate films of all time.

Dick Tracy i've only seen once when it first came out, can't remember much of it. Is The Phantom the one with Billy Zane in it?
