Yep. She could have frozen to death there and someone from Weyland industries picking it up(or someone completely else for that matter). It's open enough that they can do whatever they want with it if they choose.

rather than sending their balls of plasma at a subsonic crawl through the air. (+) for the mental image of a bolt of plasma crawling at a snail's pace from the cannon through the air towards its target

Why is a chick in charge of a excavator company even interested?

Oh, my God it's all real! Xenos are real! Lord, oh, lord!
I definitely don't want to see Weyland and Yutani merge until the late 2020s at the earliest. I think both companies need to become massive companies, bigger than Wal-Mart or Exxon Mobil. Then eventually one buys out the other and Weyland-Yutani is born...a company that is suddenly twice the size of any other corporation...and that is when the whole 'corporation as government' thing kind of starts.

Weyland dies in AVP but how can he be in Alien3 (set in the future) as the 'real' guy that Bishop is based on?
sorry, but I don't think that it is the real Bishop in Alien 3, I mean christ, he gets batted around the head so hard that it tears the flesh off the left side of his skull. If he were human then he would certainly be out cold and needing very urgent treatment to stop him from dying. He would not be able to have a paddy when ripley jumps off the ledge, because he would be busy dying on the floor having been frshly bludgeoned. And yeah, yeah, I know the 'blood' was red, but come on, we're talking about full AI in perfectly functioning androids, not to mention inter-stellar travel. If they wanted his Android Goo red, I don't think it would be much of an issue. So IMHO it could well be the actual Weyland in the 1st AVP, and I kinda liked that part of the movie. Lets face it, in 200 years, your still gonna know what the Cnl Sanders of KFC chicken fame is gonna look like!

I found A-R to be a fine movie right up till the Crying Skeletor with Tits showed up.

blah, blah...
Just read the script and listen to the audio commentary. It's said there; he is very human. This debate just seems to go on and on forever. AVP don't mean shit.
