Well there's not much new to see there except some blood flying around the screen (very subtle), could be it was in the theatrical and they just added the blood, but this is new (gore-wise):

Well, so far what I'm appreciating with this new DVD is the fact that the extreme unrated set has a digital copy i could upload on my pc and got to watch it, while my son left with the cd for the weekend. Oh and I enjoyed Jesse's death immensely, even more now that she's cut in half, she's typical of everything I hate about teen soaps. I can't believe they put in the chesburster scene for Sam and made it look so ridiculous. They should have made the scene heart wrenching, even have him die before his dad's eye, to make it even more emotional. Anyway, they missed the chance to play with my motherly instinct. As sad as it is, i'll probably watch it over and over again... *sigh*   Anyway, the added details could have made a difference but the effects are really poor. I did enjoy the last fight though, it looked much better on my pc than in the theater. If I'm not mistaken, there are no added scenes with the predalien, right?

I don't remember seeing the eye punch. All I can remeber is the predalien going infront of the camera and hearing the doctor struggle.

Hmmm I guess I need to this again not sure if I want to buy the DVD though. Shifty lookin' bugger...
