This never crossed the water to the US, apparently. Why so rare? Limited printing; poor sales? I'd love a copy but at the prices I've seen online, I'm not biting sight-unseen.

Do you mean ALIEN the Illustrated Story? If so, yes, it was available in North America as I own a copy my brother had bought when the film first came out.

I don't really think a lot of the books at the time of the films' releases or shortly after were great big sellers. I had to spend about $40 on ebay to get the CM Technical Manual, and that was a while ago. Who knows how much it is now.

No. That I have. This is an officially published version of the screenplay, with notes, etc. There are some very VERY expensive used copies only in 'good' shape, but having never seen it, I'm skeptical. If any owners out there have a copy and wouldn't mind scanning a sample page or two, I'd appreciate it. |
