Thanks a lot! I'm very flattered for the lengthy and deep review of so many of my tracks, and as a reward and a token of my most grand appreciation I award you with a merit and a copy of Clachan Road on mp3 ! I've made the track available for download so shout me once you've done so! http://www.last.fm/music/Pliskin/_/Clachan+Road

They all carry a definite minimalist attitude, and of the lot I think Carpets and Lightbulb are the best crafted. Both have a definite emotional presence and I think that the over all piano work is better achieved: i.e. better harmonies between notes and chords, more creative musical structures, and more fluid progressions. I get the feeling that there was more going on in your mind and heart as you r were writing these than in Lauren, My Lamp, or Snow. This is not say that your heart wasn't into the other tracks, it's juts that I get a feeling that you had a direction, or goal, I mind for Carpets and Lightbulb.
The other tracks are simple and straightforward, but I think they lack the necessary emotional essence to carry them. They're well done, but don't capture my attention or imagination quite the way Carpets and Lightbulb do

Thanks for the compliments and deep review! I'm not sure what moods I were in when I wrote these songs but each one was made in bursts of work, ie - I didn't stop and work on anything else until the whole thing was finished and I was happy with it. Each track was done with a mood in mind that I would try to accomplish, and I think I succeeded in that at least. Snow was me trying to capture that feeling when my entire village is caked in snow, no-one's about, and I'm just walking around it in. It's a really nice feeling, but also very lonely. I don;t know how to describe it. Basically, a complex track wouldn't have worked for it, so the notes and piano chords were intentionally sparse . I'd give you a merit but I have to wait 8 hours since I just gave you one for your own tracks. .

Quite successfully too. Listening to River Cadaver now - nice (+) Cheers, mate ! + Got rid of two of the more poorer tracks and added three more. Also sorted out the audio levels for 'Puppets' because I thought it was too loud compared to the rest of the album.
