Antropophagus(1980) I actually forgot how boring this movie is to watch, but the gore scenes do make up for the boring parts. Watch this one only if you are a gore-hound like me, it'll sure make you feel a little entertained. 6/10

Finally saw [REC]. Holy shit, one of the best films I've seen this year. Truly a brickshitter, as Krinkle said! Going to show it to a friend of mine as soon as I get her ass over here. It's going to destroy her!  Evil

I have no idea of what to watch tonight. Long Weekend maybe!

Katie Tippel
Again, fantastic acting. Rutget Haur plays a very convincing asshole, and the mustache he wears makes it all the better. Verhoeven managed to make Monique van de Ven seem like an innocent 16 year old girl vs. the sex kitten she was in Turkish Delight. Though I'm not really certain what the significance of the memoirs of Neel Doff are, this movie is entertaining and very well produced. 8/10

Thanks to the Appaloosa thread I've been trying to watch some westerns. Only managed Unforgiven so far, not a bad thing at all though! I thought it was great bit of a slow burner but it was fun to see an older Eastwood in a western.

I think I'm going to watch Once Upon A Time In The West tonight as I've had the 2 disc DVD for nearly a year and haven't gotten around to watching it yet. Oh or I might watch The Quick And The Dead but I've seen that before.

Last night: [REC] (with the friend).
Still need to see it!

Halloween Unrated (Remake)-  Good movie for the most part, I enjoyed the theatrical version more and think that it was better than the original Halloween to a degree.

***Small Spoiler***
I hate the damn rape scene that was added into the film.  It lowered the quality of the movie IMO. It was poor taste and completely unnecessary to the story.

I agree about the rape scene added to the UNRATED cut PredBabe. I hate this scene. It's very disturbing. I hate rape scenes to begin with in movies. The theatrical version is the way to go here.

I think this was a solid remake and better than the recent horror remakes that Hollywood has been producing. However, I would have to disagree with you about this being better than the original. It just doesn't match the suspense and tention of the original film in my opinion.

Predator 10/10. You would be crazy to rate this any lower if you are a Predator fan.

"One night I'm gonna come to you, inside of your house, wherever you're sleeping, and I'm gonna cut your throat." :p

Gremlins: A little too kiddy, but not bad. I enjoyed it more when I was a kid, obviously...but it's charm hasn't been completely lost in time. Gizmo is still really fucking cute. The movie also gets an extra point for the great line: "When most people are opening their presents, some people are opening their wrists."

Imaginary Heroes: A complex and interesting slice of life movie. Strong acting and a good script. It's nothing terribly special...pretty standard Indie character drama, but I am sucker for them.

The Alamo (2004)- Okay, but very bland. 6/10

Confessions of a Dangerous Mind- Excellent direction and acting, although the first scene with Clooney's character is kinda silly. 8/10

Oesters van Nam Kee (Oysters at Nam Kee)- Dutch film about a drop-out who falls in love with a stripper and then loses it when she dumps him. Sounds very shallow and actually is kinda shallow, but the leads did a superb job despite the shallow script. Oh yeah, she is involved in some very steamy sex scenes. Tongue  8/10
