Piranha 3 - Never quite sure what this film wanted to be. It was a bit too brutal to to be strictly for laughs and a bit too comedic to be strictly straight out horror.
Similarly, the visual effects were laughably horrible, while the phsyical effects were disgustingly good.

Prometheus. I'm a Geologist! I like rocks! No, I love rocks! Easily best bit of the film because we are that crazy... I need to see it again, because I have to figure out what would be a worse fate, those Proto-Facehugger (Throat Fuckers), a traditional facehugger or that big ass Bodyhugger 8/10 Best Alien related movie in years, because I like it and its well made (unlike AvPR which I liked but was a pile of shit) |

It's half term and the kids finally stopped arguing long enough to agree to go and see Men in Black III. It's not that great, but I did enjoy the Saturn V lift off scene. 5.5/10
