If you dont mind entertaining a completely unqualified suggestion from an amateur musician, I might give extending your bars even further a try.

The sounds are already beautiful.

I only mention that because through my own trial and errors (mostly errors), I've often found that longer bars (8's or 16's. heck 32's?) go farther towards emphasizing and mining ambient sounds.

But thats only a CC idea.

I think it sounds wonderful as it is.

Thats very striking.

The percussion is smooth enough to be almost unnoticeable.
Which is much more difficult than it would seem.

More sophisticated then it appears if you tried to do it.

(Personally) that makes me try harder in many ways.
