Awesome! I could totally see the second shot in an S99 ep. ...I could even see it flashing by in the "This Episode" montage at the opening under the theme. ...followed by a quick shot of Martin Landau looking surprised.  |

Awesome queen! If I had the room I would go on a building spree and make all sorts of full size stuff. Aliens Terminators, ED209 and so forth. But I barely got room for my Blair monster from the Thing!!   Hi Jon, Simon, Bill and Dennis - very cool, looking forward to hearing more about your pictures and items. I thought you might get a kick out of this: Below is a pic of my life size Queen Alien that resides in my loft in Los Angeles - it was refurbished by artists who've worked on the last (4) Alien movies -- I also have a life size Alien Warrior, (4) Alien Eggs, and a facehugger. - Jay West   |

Is it me, or do these look like shots straight out of SPACE:1999. Awesome! While I was renting out the Hasselblad camera to do those planet surfaces with paint and soirit I had a roll of film left over. When the models were lit I did a couple of double exposures for the planets (very crude in those days) and so have that Space1999 look but the best bit is that they are shot on one of the best cameras out there at the time so are pin sharp. |
