Bloody Mary with vodka... blech!  Sick

I like my Mary's with gin (specifically Bombay Saphire! ....yummy!).  Gin and enough hot pepper to make my head spin  Drool Drool

Gin Maries are not to bad. But I am old fashion. I do like a bloody beer! But when it comes to a proper Mary, vodka is the way to go.

Bombay Gin is my favorite ginmill. The Sapphire is, well, like a party in my mouth and everyone comes. ( OK that sounds gay as shit! )

And when I drink gin, I take it on the rocks, in a glass. Unless I am doing a martini. Then I am the oppisite of you, I like gin, not vodka. I like them drier, just a splash of vermouth, and olives-three! Or now-and-then, a classic Gibson with a cocktail onion, or three!

But I bet you would like one of my Bloody Maries. I have taken to improving them with a splash of Patron Silver Tequila.

What TV should I buy?

The Vizio has better specs, and the brand doesn't have a history of black crush like Sony does, it's also larger. But the Sony is a Sony, a must more trusted brand when it comes to longevity. I think I am leaning towards the Vizio, but still have yet to make a decision.

Sony. Lasts longer, but ask for an active demo of each of them.

Samsung fails.

Seriously, I have one. Sound is crap, image sucks after about a year of use and it creaks and cracks like an old lady walking up the stairs.

Sony TVs are a million times better.

I have had decent luck with Sony TV's. DVD and VCR players... not so much.

Never had a Sammy, I had a Philips. It was OK, but I had complaints so I kind of want to move on to another brand.

The Sony probably has black crush, is only 60hz, is 3 inches smaller, no PiP, no PoP, and costs the same as the Vizio. In store, the image doesn't even look good, either.

The main problem I am having now...is transpo.

Well if you think that the Sony is all of those, go for the Vizio, it seems to be less known and when I went to the hardware mall here and got talking, all but 2 of the guys had never heard of it.

But as you said, it seems that you are leaning towards the Vizio, go for it. Tell us how it is as well, I need a new TV.

Yeah but you'd want to run the sound through a 5.1 or 2.1 (or 7.1 if you're loaded!) setup anyway!
But yeah, I've never really "heard" the sound from the TV, so you might be right about the quality.
