Metacritic has compiled it's score for all three platform versions of Aliens: Colonial Marines. The general vibe around the game is that it is lackluster in a number of categories. Here's how it breaksdown: Xbox 360 49/100 based on 33 reviews. PlayStation 3 44/100 based on 16 reviews. PC 42/100 based on 33 reviews. Certainly not encouraging. But I suppose, as always, you should judge for yourself. I've had the game since it was released last week but have only logged about half an hour total in both single and multiplayer modes combined. There are some cool nods to the films, but I can see where some of the complaints are coming from. All-in-all, however, it's far too early for me to pass final judgement. I played the game for an hour and it wasnt long before I felt something was off about this game.
The sfx on the gun I thought were spot on at last so Ill give it that.
But what got me was just how dull it was and how there was no challange and all this was before I saw any review and relised the graphics were embarissing for a 2013 game.
Oh well. Heres back to hoping!
