Dark Horse has just announced via Comic-Con 2009 the release of a new Aliens vs. Predator comic line called Aliens vs. Predator: Three World War: Aliens vs. Predator: Three World War - The 2009 relaunch of the Aliens and Predator series comes together with a creative team of John Arcudi and Rick Leonardi. No details as of yet as to the storyline but our very own Jay West is currently at Comic-Con and will be making a stop by the Dark Horse booth so we're sure to bring home some information on everything Dark Horse has to offer in the way of Alien, Predator and AVP news. More as we have it.

I'm willing to have some faith in this. ...The new ALIENS comic is decent. It's good to see Dark Horse bringing these franchises back into the game.

In general I liked most of the older Aliens comic series. I have Aliens: Series I, Genocide and Hive and they were all good (from what I remember). I think I've only read a couple Predator lines - The Bloody Sands of Time and Cold War, I think. Oh, Batman vs. Predator which was actually quite good too. Don't remember reading any AVP comics aside from the recently released AVP: Civilized Beasts that was total shit. I've got all the Omnibus's, though, so I could go back and read most of the series since they're all complied now.

Its about time they produced more Aliens comics i think. Its good to see htme back in action in comic form. Got the entire UK collection and collecitng the rest. I remeber when they were first released in the UK by trident comics i could never wait for the next issue.

I never picked up any of the stand alone Predator comics, just ALIENS and AVP as the alien was my interest. AVP and AVP: War were a good read. I actually like how AVP: War picked up from the ALIENS: Berzerker series - that was a nice touch. ...I seem to remember a one off AVP that wasn't that great, but otherwise they were a fun read.

The original Alien VS Predator comics were brilliant, loved them. When the other cross over comics began to surface i avoided them like the plague. Green Lantern VS Aliens? What the hell!?

I'm really liking the cover art for the new AvP comic. The Predators using the Aliens like attack dogs. Since Aliens are a lethal weapon of sorts, makes sense the predators would use them for what they're good at.
