I've already told you I don't remember where I read it. I certainly didn't think a decade or so later someone would be demanding a source for an internet forum discussion. I understand how the internet works. Someone says something you don't like, you ask for a source. They can't provide it, you win... I get it.

I also understand no one in the history of the internet has ever won a debate like this. These things are like the simulations in the movie War Games, no winners.

So I withdraw. You guys can win.. Alien3 is the best movie ever, and the character Ripley is so the awesome!

But what I actually think is I am certainly more right than you, but it is just a movie and my opinion only really counts for me. I'm cool with that.

It's not really a matter of anyone 'not liking it'.  It's the fact she's said how much she dug what Cameron did with the character and the relationship with Newt, in the movie magazine and the Quad DVDs, and calling 'bullshit' when someone says she didn't dig what Cameron was doing but conveniently can't back it up.

That is how debates work. I have only ever heard one person say that Weaver disliked what Cameron did...you...and you have no source. So yeah, you do lose.

In any debate, having credible sources to back up your claim is going to strengthen your argument and lend credibility to what you say. If you can't do that, then we have no way of knowing if you are just pulling it out of your ass.

And let's weigh this: documentaries, interviews, articles that can all be drawn upon that shows Weaver's approval of Cameron vs. your "I remember reading once, but don't know where and can't produce it now."

If this was a court of a Law, you would be thrown out for having no evidence.

Same goes here, if you are in a debate, and you do not provide Evidence to support your claims, they are, well there pretty shit claims.

Provide a source, apart from yourself, and then your point will be taken into account.

You all know how I love to play Homer's favorite pinball game, so here I go: Within Hollywood politics, people rarely come out and say what they mean if it will demean one of their own. So often times, you have to read between the lines. Weaver's statements about preferring to outsmart instead of outgun could be construed as one of those backhand comments. It's not damning evidence at all, though.
