Elementary

I was kind'a groaning at the trailers before this came out, but I've watched every episode so far the last three weeks and I must admit I'm thoroughly enjoying it. "Sherlock Holmes re-imagined as a generic US police drama" doesn't sound like the most exciting proposition in the world, but ... it's really not that bad and I find myself liking it more and more each week.

Would I say the BBC series is better? No, because they're entirely different styles. I'd put them as equals for their respective formats.

I thought the promos to that Elementary looked lame as, too.  Only thing that looked vaguely interesting was Sickboy.  Haven't bothered.  Mind you haven't watched the UK Holmes thing either.

The First Lady watched all three series of Downton Abbey last week and I got sucked in.  Soap opera, but decent soap opera nonetheless.

The Walking Dead

I've been trying to get into this series and am just about finished with season 2, but with each new episode I watch, the more my distaste for the series grows. I'm more of a 30 minute sitcom person than a soap opera/dramatized television series fan myself, so I try to take that into consideration when watching things like TWD.
However, this series is so underwhelming and full of petty "issues" and obnoxious characters all around... I hope Carl bites the dust and that's my soul reason for even wanting to finish up the second season at this point.

Terminator: SCC

I'm late to the party, I know. I saw it when it originally aired but I never saw the final episode, until now. How in the fuck could they cancel it on such a cliffhanger!?

I mean what!?! They go into an alternate future looking for John Henry, an alternate future where John Connor doesn't exist? HOLY SHIT!!

What happened with Cameron's chip and John Henry? How did they plan to stop J-Day, what went wrong?! Did Sarah die of cancer in the end? There's so many questions and possibilities.

It was nice to see Derek come back, though. Apart from that I'm going to cry myself to sleep at the fact they cancelled it, and made Salvation instead. Now there's maybe a fifth film coming, with arnie? FOR THE LOVE OF ZOMBIE JESUS JUST RENEW THE SHOW INSTEAD.

Game of Thrones Season 2

A lot of water treading here. Didn't feel as focused as the first season. However the Blackwater episode is one of the greatest TV episodes ever shown.

I'm gonna get this out of the open, I really don't care about Danerys, her dragons or her peoples. Couldn't give a fuck at all.

Latest new episode of 'Two and a Half Men' was one of the best I've seen for along time. Scott Bakula cameo too Smiley

Finally, finally got around to watching Season 8 of Scrubs.

There were tears at the end there. Manly, manly tears.
