Funny to look back on this thread at the original statements of beckmen and Thedus.  Tongue

Why is that? I may have had a more positive attitude towards the movie in other threads, because I did have a more positive attitude about the movie for a long time. It wasn't until I saw pics and then the trailer that it started to downslide. But in this thread, I posted thrice and both+1 were critical of the movie...a position I remain in.

EDIT: Hah, is 'pis' a word? Firefox spellcheck didn't catch it. Plural of 'pi', eh? Hmm.

No I just think it's funny that you were basically right before Avatar was released.

Your mind has not yet been tainted by the extreme amount of cheese that oozes from the film.

Or you have not yet experience the full power of its Awesome!

As Darth Vader once said to Cameron.

That was back in '91. These days he'd find his lack of Awesome disturbing.

Actually, you have been mis-informed. What he actually said to Cameron in '91 was

Quote
The Awesome is with you, young Cameron, but you are not a Film Maker yet.

Its a common mistake, don't take it too harshly.
