If memory serves me correctly, they wanted to get rid of all the vegetation to expose military targets so aerial attacks would be easier.
I see. Thanks! Did it work, btw?

Although - it's a dioxin. And it was trioxins that were used to destroy cannabis plantations by the US military in the late 1960's. They had to stop using it because it kept on raising the dead. At least, that's what Uncle Dan O'Bannon told me! LOL. I believe that was only certain strains of trioxin, was it not? or was 235 just the most popular/stable/whatever?

Whenever I've got a question, I usually just go on wikipedia and type it in and every time it comes up. That's where I learned what an 'internet troll' was, where I got loads of Metal Gear Solid information for my parody fan film and where I found out what spider I was most afraid of ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Victorian_funnelweb.jpg )

How come, no matter how much beer I drink, I always feel thirsty the morning after? Comes from having slept with a mouthful of carpet.
