AvP in IGN's Top 10 PC Games for 2010

IGN has compiled a list of 10 games due out in 2010 that proves PC gaming is still alive and well. Sega's Aliens vs. Predator has made the cut:

Another multi-format game that comes from a distinctly PC heritage. Brit developer Rebellion's 1999 Aliens Versus Predator is one of the defining moments in the proud history of shooting scary monsters in dark tunnels, not to mention a flat-out spectacular multiplayer brawl between three species. Bar Rogue Trooper and Sniper Elite, Rebellion has made clunker after stinkin', 'orrible clunker since, so that its comeback show involves a new take on their finest hour has caused many a man to squeal with childlike joy. It's incredible looking and, at last, returns Colonial Marines into the Aliens franchise, but apart from the tri-species/three-way narrative thing, so far hasn't demonstrated truly mighty ambition. Multiplayer's on show soon however, and that'll be proof of the predatory pudding.

If it's to prove that PC gaming is still alive, then shouldn't they just be using games exclusive to the PC?

On that basis they probably wouldn't have enough games. Let alone enough good games.

Multiplayer is the best thing PC gaming has going for it. It always has been, and in my opinion, probably always will be superior to console multiplayer.

Multiplayer FPS is the best thing the PC has going for it. and maybe WoW.
