Morpheus vs. Predators
« on: December 18, 2009, 02:06:13 AM »

I would've posted this earlier, but the MTV Movie Blog took it down, leading me to believe it was fake. However Shock Till You Drop has been pretty reliable for Predators news so far.

Shock Till You Drop

Laurence Fishburne has joined the cast of Predators, now lensing in Texas under the direction of Nimrod Antal.

Shock Till You Drop has learned he is playing a character named Roland. The Matrix vet joins Adrien Brody, Topher Grace, Danny Trejo, Walton Goggins and Alice Braga.

They play a disparate group of people who land on the Predator home planet only to discover "unspeakable horrors." Robert Rodriguez is producing.

Looks like the Noland role has been beefed up big time to include a star of Laurence Fishbourne's calibur.

This is Blasphemy! This is Madness!

Get me the biggest body builder with the least amount of acting skills possible and replace this great actor!

Ha, you thought you could ruin Predators by placing people who could act? Ha I'll show you!

Ok, why aren't they just coming out and calling this a sequel yet? People land on the home planet and find unspeakable horrors? It's a fucking sequel...

^ Just thought it might lead to further info somewhere, just another possible alley.

Hudson: you say sequel but sequel to what? Predator? Predator 2? I admit it doesn't sound like  a 'retelling' 're-imagining' or whatever to me, just another story in the Pred universe like AvP and AvP 2.

That will only be said unless it's good, then people will call it canon.

It's a sequel. History tells us that it doesn't take a plot related to a previous entry to be called a sequel.
