Anyone know if Sony has plans on re-issuing Alien Trilogy from the PSOne for download from the PSN? They've got loads of other PSOne titles - even some I would have expected to be ignored, but no Alien Trilogy.

Can this wait? I need to do some calibrations

You'd have to check with Sony, I've not been on the PSN since last year.
If the games were popular enough then they would defiantly be put up at some point.

Speaking of rarities, we've had Carmageddon for the PSX for like two months now, and just as I bought my PS3 some asshole customer bought the game just one day prior to me.
Balls!
But if Alien Trilogy do end up on PSN, do share with us here!

Wha--Several people are selling it for like 5 bucks! It's not like it's Panzer Dragoon Saga or Battlesphere!

I assume he means online in places like ebay or something cause I don't see any PlayStation games in stores anymore.

I posted a link to Alien Trilogy for PSX for sale on half.com. Several copies up there, at least a few in the 3-6 dollar range.
Random question: When you buy something from PSN, do they add it to your account so that you can download it as many times as you want? I am just curious as to what kind of data protection there is. If your PS3's HDD shits the bed (and they will...), are you forced to re-buy the shit? I don't imagine that is the case, but if it is...it's egregious.

Thanks for the link, Becks. And to answer your question: Once you pay for something on PSN you can go to your Downloads and find it to DL again, should you need to.

as Thedus said, yes once you have purchased it you can redownload it on that account.
2 years running and my HDD is perfectly fine.

You should generally be safe for 2 years. 3-5 years is where HDDs usually start to fail, though sometimes they last for longer. Depends on a lot of factors, I guess.

Well, I usually use a gaming system for 3-5 years before I feel the need to upgrade to he next best thing... so I should be right on track with my HDD.

I'm waiting until the PS4 before even thinking of an upgrade, if it fails before then, I'll get a new one.
