Naw, I think that too tbf. It was kinda established that they only hunt fair game in the very first film, but it's got kinda outta hand in the crossover films and comic books with all the team-ups and shit.

Though with the situation in Predators, I don't think it's too lame. I think everyone other than the Super Pred's are in desperate situations.

The band of misfits are more than fair game, worthy prey; isn't that why they were brought to the planet in the first place? The predator should just attack the humans as soon as they release it.

But it's exactly the same as in AvP; they are facing overwhelming odds, so "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" and all that other bullshit.

Fucking hated that in the first crossover, and now they're doing the same with the re-imagining.

The script does not indicate ANY teaming up like what was shown in Alien vs. Predator. All Royce does is releases the thing and it fights the SPB. Probably because the SPB hurt it and tied it up, when all Royce did was release him. Hmmmm....who would you fight?

To be honest if there is a fight between the Classic and the Super Pred I am going to be cheering for the Classic. Very loudly.

Yeah they were brought by the new race of predators. I remember reading/hearing somewhere that the humans aren't the main prey on the planet (I believe that means that the original race of preds are the main prey).

The original pred is already beaten down and weak after being tied up for who knows how long. He was in a situation where one has to pick and choose their battle. Either fight something that just gave you a second chance to redeem yourself in life or fight the one who almost ended it.

To an extent I agree with you. If this were a general hunt then no definitely not, but it isn't.

Also the original race of preds weren't supposed to be mindless killers either so for him to just start killing everyone in sight would just be wrong.

But that takes away so much from their scary factor, and I don't think anyone disagrees with me when I say that the lack of the horror element was one of the biggest flaws in the recent establishments. A predator wants to kill you; no matter if you help it or not if you're worthy prey. The thing should've attacked Royce as soon as he released it, and then focused on the super predator.

Also, it's a small thing, but the predator nodding to Royce kinda humanized it too much IMO.

Well if that were the case then all of (or at least one of the preds) on the ship in Predator 2 would have been at Harrigan's throat after he had just proved himself.

They never were meant to be sensless killers and have shown some form of respect towards their prey, Predator 2 is proof of this.

As for the pred nodding its head- hopefully its not a complete nod of the head, maybe he makes a more alien like movement in the film... 

Though they are a well adapted species who obviously know how to communicate with others, a nod wouldn't be too farfetched.

what do the elder preds think about these super preds?? surely they are a disgrace to pred society.


How do the preds get the humans from earth to the game planet? will we see this? I'm curious if they stun them or something...

I also agree that there seems to be an obvious 'team up' plot going on here, they find a reg pred tied and damaged, they probably release him and like AvP he will probably help them but not directly.....resulting in a fight with Mr Black and the reg pred being killed I'll bet.

Another point, this game planet hosts game, humans aren't the main game, will we see other alien life on this planet? alien remains? I'm sure if Fishburne can survive in hiding then other species could do the same. Space Jockey cameo would be awesome hehe

The title of the movie is Predators, there will be more than one.

If you look at the shot of Brody with all the dots again, the one on his forehead is possibly the only true set of dots. Meaning the rest of the dots on his body are probably fake and added in for commercial purposes to show the general audience that there will be more than one Predator in the movie.
Unless they changed the script and those are all real dots- that is doubtful though.

Think of people- there are different races of people (different looks, beliefs, etc.), some races get along fine and others don't and start fights and wars. Same goes for the predator species, there's different races but they don't all get along for whatever reason (looks, beliefs, lifestyles, etc.).
