The last series of Dr Who featured a military base underneath a Utah desert where the US stored all it"s ET jetsam.  In one of the display cases you can see an Alien egg.

There was a cheesy little cartoon show where a director was making an Alien-like movie. His creature is such a rip-off of Giger"s design, one of the characters even comments "Look"s like the alien from that movie. Can"t remember the name..." "

The PS2 game Killzone features Dropships which look extremely close to the one in Aliens. Not only that,, but they are named Dropships. As well as guns that look exactly like Smartguns. "

* A pub-quiz in the Queen Vic (Eastenders) had the question what film does this tagline belong to "In space no one can hear you scream", If I remember correctly, Squealin" Beale answers Alien.
 
* An episode of "My Family" featured an Alien gag at the Dentist..

Yeah, that was a week before Gary had his own Alien moment when the lights went off.  I suspect one of the scriptwriters was a major fan...

I read something long ago about a Pepsi commercial from 1991 or 1992 which featured two teens being chased by an Alien. The creature hit a Pepsi vending machine with its tail, causing a Pepsi can to roll out. The Alien then drank it and even burped. I saw some stills from the clip; the Alien looked pretty good! "

But the funny thing is that it"s Coca Cola that gets the product placement in Alien 3!
