Speaking of which hits CH11 next Sunday night. More than a tad dissapointed with the efforts put in for A 3. They were very selective with both language and violence. Think I'll just put the Alien:Resuckrection DVD on next Sunday instead... |

Didn't even realise 3 was on telly. Can't imagine what they'd cut in these more relaxed times of censorship. I always chuckle when watching my VCD copy of 3 from Singapore. Everything gets through except "motherfucker". Dillon goes "I'm talking about killing that big motherf[silence]."  Every other swear gets through, but they draw the line at mutha'ucka. |

Glaringly omitted was Golic's "FUCK!!!" when Clemens (I may be mixed up with who everyone is but you get the point) gets taken up the shaft mid-rant. Every other expletive was in there...  I'm sure a bit was missing from the guy going into the fan as well... |

True -- but there's also that most people are cheering Andrews' death anyway. It was always a scene that was less shock, more "Fucking finally!". Ripley8 seeing Ripleys 1-7 was supposed to be a poignant emotional scene ... capped off by a one-liner.
It'd be more like BishopII saying "well...FUCK!" after Ripley's Jesus dive.

It's funny, I've seen this short dozens of times in the past several years, but never noticed the "borrowed" bits from ALIENS until now. If you don't pick up on it right away, try playing it with your eyes closed.  |
