We're getting another one.

What do we want and what don't we want?

Wants:

Futuristic or past setting.
Actual badass as the protagonist.
One liners.
More action.
Characters with names.
Pierre Morrel, Neil Marshall, John Hyams to direct.

Un-Wants:

Lifting scenes for the original.
Superfluous non combatative characters.
Paul Anderson, Strause Brothers, Nimrod Antal to direct.

Wants:
-More action aboard a Predator ship, preferably a bigger one. But Predator 2 design aesthetic. If it's going to look like a generic scifi set, don't even fucking bother.
-More Predator weaponry, only alien weaponry, not something lazily designed.
-More alien environments.

Un-wants:
-Predators that are both mentally retarded and total pussies.

I would prefer if it was completely unrelated to Predators, imo each Predator encounter should be unique. New charcters, different settings, different points in time. I would love to see a Pred take on the wild west era.  Wink

But generally...

Want:
One Predator through the majority of the film, with maybe some sort of reunion at the end
Past setting
More skinnings

Unwant:
Beheadings
Elaborate displays and explanations of the Predator's homeworld or culture.

Wants:

- Less Predators. Perhaps one classic, and one Super. Perhaps each hunting each other, and humans as well ( I should copy right that for shits and giggles)
- Nimrod Antal to direct, RR to produce.
- Different environments, perhaps a drier environment. Dessert, shrub land, canyons, etc...
- More skull/spine ripping
- More Predator laughing/roaring
- Classic vs Super round 2.
- Predator vs Human CQC.

Unwants:
- Alien references
- lots of Predators
- Predators teaming up with humans (Royce and Classic, was acceptable as he clearly didn't want too)
- De-mystification of Predator culture
- Female Predators

And who says we are getting a forth? I can't find anything about it.

Are you shitting me? Another one already? Damn!

Well...want:

More action, and less time to ponder why are we here crap.

un-want:

Time to ponder why are we here crap

Predators hunting Knights and shizzle in medieval times would be kick-ass..

I would love to see a Pred take on the wild west era.  Wink

That actually crossed my mind while playing Red Dead Redemption. haha Could definitely be awesome, though I think the timeline for the Pred films will only go forward at this point.  Neutral

Wants:

- More alien-like environments (assuming they do continue to have the story take place on other planets or the same one). A dessert like area, as Nel suggested, would be neat to see and something different from the typical pred film.

- More scenes with the preds and have more pred POV as well. I don't necessarily want a bunch of predators but focus on the personalities of the ones that are in the movie (how they move, stalk/study prey, etc.).

- Classic VS New Breed

- Some action star (AKA badass) as the lead character- not that I didn't like Brody/Royce, he was alright but!

Don’t wants:

- Cheap ass death scenes (like Nolan's death and the lame chopping off heads. Come on.)

- Again female predators and the demystification of the Predator creatures and their culture. If they're going to show anything new about them then it better be well thought out and logically done!

Hmmmm I am nervous about this as its come about quickly but....

Want:

1. More preds, possible tribe or at least the same number you see at the end of 'Predator 2',
2. Classic stylings on masks and weapons,
3. Alien planet looking alien,
4. At least two biggish names in the cast eg. Rourke and Lungdren Wink
5. Samurai Smiley
6. Tiny 'Alien' hint maybe Wink
7. Good effects by Winston's boys
8. Predator planet?
9. Stand alone story or chapter,
10. Predators to win Smiley
11. Small 'Predator 2' acknowledgement,
12. The future director, RR and studio bosses to read this thread and take note.

Don't Want:

1. Setting on earth,
2. Super pred,
3. Silly oversized weapons, dreds, pred muscles etc..
4. Follow on from first film,
5. Too many references from 'Predator'
6. Humans winning.

10. Predators to win Smiley

I agree actually, they're supposed to be these terrifying, badass, ruthless space hunters yet the humans seem to kick their asses every single time.

haha Could definitely be awesome, though I think the timeline for the Pred films will only go forward at this point.  Neutral

Seems a shame really though, I would love to see some Predator encounters from the distant past.

On the subject of the predator(s) living for once: YES YES YES.

Seems a shame really though, I would love to see some Predator encounters from the distant past.

Me too.

Why not a Predator POV?

Predator POV for what? The whole movie?

Yeah, fuck Royce. Each movie should be a standalone. I wanna see that Iwo Jima encounter!  Thumbs Up

PS: It's Noland, not Nolan.
