On the subject of the predator(s) living for once: YES YES YES.

Me too.

Predator POV for what? The whole movie?

Yeah, why not? Something new, something fresh, something never seen before...

I wouldn't watch it.

General public wouldn't watch it.

Baddies work best when you're not following them around every minute. And I don't want the Predator turned into a sympathetic character. It's a hunter. We're meant to hate it.

Yeah, fuck Royce. Each movie should be a standalone. I wanna see that Iwo Jima encounter!  Thumbs Up

PS: It's Noland, not Nolan.

Oops.

I wanna see my Pred Dead Redemption!

Yeah, why not? Something new, something fresh, something never seen before...

I used to always want to see a movie like that, hell I would still see it if they said that's what they wanted to do for a sequel. Though like SiL said- it won't appeal to the general audience and despite the fact that I find myself mostly enjoying scenes with the preds in the past few movies, it would be too much of a good thing.

I really want to see the predator more independant like in P1 of P2 working by himself. And i wouldnt mind if he used alot of stealth, and got up close and person with people. Hell, would it hurt to see another pred use the old school hand net gun, and the spear gun?

Predator, Alien and Jaws have one thing in common creature-wise:

They leave you wanting more. They use their monsters sparingly, and make every scene count.

Predator 2, AvP/R, and Jaws 2 also have one thing in common creature-wise:

They give you everything. You see so much of the creatures. You don't have to want to see the baddy because you know you just have to wait two minutes and it'll be back. You're not left wanting more and what you get doesn't feel special cos there's so much of it in there. You take it for granted.

We have seen enough of single hunting preds now, 'Predators' was three/four but I still think a proper tribe or pack (whatever) is the way to go now, you still don't have to see them constantly. I really wanna see a face off between many preds and prey, be it either humans or humans with other alien help,
think the marines battle at the start of 'Aliens' or the fight where Hudson bites the dust, awesome sequences, wanna see a pred version where the humans or whatever get totally decimated hehe prefer humans of course, a total white wash wipeout baby, limbs n blood flying all over as the pack rip apart a human barricade Wink

What is the new film gonna be called huh!!?? Predators 2?? Predator 3?

I woudn't mind seeing humans meet a human woman who became a hunter with the Predators. A woman who only knows the world of the Predators but has faint memory of her life on earth. But that is just me and probably me alone.  It would be nothing like AVP though.  Sick

Haha awesome!  Thumbs Up

Why not a Predator POV?

I quite like that idea, maybe not for the whole movie but alot more than they have used it in previous ones. They could show some of the skinnings, spine rippings and kills from the Preds POV, not necessarily in heat vison but in a sort of first-person view.

Maybe in a new storyline, the Preds could attack the ship of some other alien race that is carrying some 'cargo' which the Predators desperately want for their own purposes. The ensuing battle causes the 'cargo' to be freed, wiping out most of the alien race and Predators, although a few manage to escape with what they were after. The ship crashes on a nearby planet, where the last remaining survivor sends out a distress signal before becoming host to a sinister alien parasite. The movie ends with it now being many decades or even centuries later, a towing vessel passing by picks up the signal and the crew aboard decide to investigate...

Want:
More information about the US government's attempts to capture a Predator
More information about what was done with the technology acquired in P2 and AVP:R
Maybe a subtle reference to aliens (or Jockeys)
Bizarre new weapons (no Predator pistols or swords)
At least a nod to the style of the Predator 2 tech (bronze and orange)
A little clarification (not much) on the Predator race war
Stealth kills
Folks being skinned alive, preferably on camera
At least one self-destruct, and maybe some creepy laughter
A reference to Val Verde, maybe
Some candy

Do not want:
Blatant ripoffs of the original
Blatant exposition
Hieroglyphs which state the obvious
The power glove

You want a working tribe of predators? Hollywood cant pull of a movie with 3or 4 predators in it. And you want a whole pack of em? Your asking to much.   Wink

The power glove

Why do so many fans bitch about the power glove?  It was only in the film for 2 seconds.
