The whole movie is bad so might as well go balls-out on the badness.  Also, I don't see how it is worse than the whip or the handheld gun.  The only cool thing they introduced were the laser mines.

I didn't think the handheld gun was quite as cheesy as the glove or whip. It could also be more practical in some situations than a shoulder mounted gun which possibly has more limited pivot speed and rotation.

Also, the power glove reminds me of that cheesy Nintendo peripheral from the 80s of the same name.

Is there a pic of the power glove somewhere?  All I saw was a tiny light flash and a dark blur.

 Facepalm (Picard)

lol

Yeah I definitely agree with you there. Plus they had to start somewhere with their weapons/technology; it seems logical that they started out using handheld type guns. Also the "elder" pred in Predator 2 carried around that gun from 1715 as though he liked to use it from time to time.

I want to see a new predator design- skin/body type wise. The last three movies all seem to try and do the typical cream body and black freckled look. I want something new like they did in Predator 2- then it will be more original and memorable when the time comes where it won't have the mask on.

*Me thinking too much into it*
If they did ever do a desert (Western  Cheesy) setting, it would be neat if they based the skin design on one of these snakes:

Or another type of snake/reptile that is found in the desert so the pred seems more fitting with the setting.

Just a thought.

^Not that I would hate seeing that but it would be cool to see one battle another type of killer other than someone in the military. Who better than an Eastwood-like cowboy and a bunch of outlaws?  Tongue
